Biography

Nikola Hrga was born in Australia in 1990. Hrga was a self-taught artist until he was able to begin professional training in 2017 at the Barcelona Academy of Art. In 2018, he was accepted to The Florence Academy of Art, US Branch, where he is continuing his training in the 2nd year of the programme. Within 6 months of training, he has been awarded a number of scholarships and awards from the school, including Summer Workshop Scholarship, Best Cast of the Year, and multiple purchase awards for the school’s permanent collection of drawings. Hrga was also elected as Assistant Instructor of the Drawing & Program. Nikola now works privately, painting in his studio.
