Dasha Belokrylova is a Russian painter and Principal Instructor at the Florence Academy of Art. During her studies, Dasha learned the method of sight-size, the anatomy of the human body, and oil painting process in full depth.

In this video we observe Dasha drawing a portrait using a wood burning technique and are explained different elements of the process from set up, materials, compositional choices, and how she uses different marks for different elements.
