Admissions

Application Procedures

Your FAA application process begins when you submit your online application. The MA Faculty will select the best candidates as demonstrated by their interest, as expressed through their personal statements, in learning a classical methodology to acquire or build upon their current skill set, and if the examples of personal artwork reflect a strong interest in figurative realism.

Applicants must present:

  • Transcript
  • One letter of reference
  • Resume or CV
  • Personal statement
  • Images (in the form of low resolution jpgs) of 10-20 artworks produced in the last 3 years. At least 5 images should represent figurative art.

With regard to the portfolio of 10-20 images of artwork produced in the last 3 years, the MA faculty will look for a minimum level of technical skill. Candidates who are accepted will have demonstrated the required proficiencies to undertake the Academy’s MA program.
