In this video, working in oil paint and with a live model, Vitaliy takes us through The Process of portraiture including discussion on blocking in, values, working with bigger shapes, and composition.

Vitaliy Shtanko is a fine artist based in Florence, Italy and a Principal Instructor of the Intermediate and Advanced Painting programs at The Florence Academy of Art.
