This week we are delighted to share with you a highly informative lecture on El Greco, given by Ramiro Sanchez, Director of Advanced Painting, and Tom Richards, Assistant Director of The Florence Academy of Art.

Ramiro and Tom will look deeply into the artist’s life, and his artistic vision, taking into account the historical context in which he lived. Through an analysis of a variety of works, from multi-figure compositions to portraits and landscapes, we will see how El Greco changed styles frequently, and how his work influenced artists ever since.
