Erica Arcudi is a painter from Raleigh, North Carolina as well as a graduate of and Former Director of Anatomy at the Florence Academy Art. Before joining the FAA Erica received a BA in Classical Archeology from UNC Chapel Hill.

In this lecture Erica uses her expertise to introduce and guide us through five sculptures from Greek antiquity. Through her selection of pieces she shows us how form and communication of emotion developed in sculpture from the Archaic to the Hellenistic period.

This lecture was first presented as a part of the Faculty Lecture series given at The Florence Academy of Art campus in Florence, Italy.
